  • Our walls are solid stone and the plaster is patchy. Can that be made good?

    Usually, yes. Solid stone walls behave differently from a modern cavity: damp shows on the inside face, and old lime plaster under a newer skim tends to let go. We would look at it before quoting and say whether it needs patching, a full re-skim, or the cause dealing with first.
